Ceilidh Dance resource pages

It's about time Ceilidh dancing was represented properly on the web, so here's my attempt.

At the moment I have:

• Ceilidh dance instructions.
• Recommended reading.
• Discussion about The Gay Gordons, collated by Irene van Marseveen.
• Bands of which I know.
• Information on The World Ceilidh Band Competition, held on the Isle of Bute. They are considering expanding to hold regional heats with the winners getting free travels to the finals at the festival itself, and would like to gauge interest in this.
• Groups around the world.
• Links to various other dance-related Web pages. Key sites (for which I can take neither credit nor blame):
  • Mike's Community forums - includes ceilidh dance forums.
  • Edinburgh Ceilidhs at the Lot, Grassmarket - weekly ceilidhs.
  • The Ceilidh Collective - Edinburgh-based fundraising ceilidhs for social and environmental grassroots and charitable organisations.
  • Scots Music Group (was The Adult Learning Project), Edinburgh. Also run regular ceilidhs and ceilidh classes.
