Under the direction of Janet Wright, the VFO plays RSC dances and balls and, in addition, plays occasional concerts, often with other Scottish groups.
Although primarily in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, the orchestra also plays for dances on Vancouver Island and in Western Washington.
