Since its formation, the Wardlaw Scottish Dance Band has proved a popular choice amongst Country Dancers. They are no strangers to travel either, having performed not only throughout Mainland Britain but also in the United States of America. As well as Traditional Country Dances, they provide music for functions of all types - Weddings, Parties, Burns Nights, anything.

Liz, David and Ralph have been playing Scottish music in America for many years between them. In 2000 AD, they came together to form Waverley Station. They have played for Scottish, contra, and English dances in the mid-Atlantic and South, and would love to play for YOU SOON!

Whigmaleerie is a five-piece Ceilidh Dance Band born and formed in Aberdeenshire, Scotland in the last century which this century, has matured into the perfect Ceilidh Dance Band for every occasion.
With over 25 years experience as a Ceilidh Band in the North East of Scotland, Whigmaleerie's not-so-delicate blend of drums; fiddle; keyboards; guitars; and vocals gives them a contemporary sound, drawn on the traditional music of Scotland, Ireland

For any event, from a small community party to a large wedding reception, the White Cart Ceilidh Band will be the perfect hosts for your evening. Most people don't want a 'high-octane' folk-rock-fusion band, just some great musicians who love ceilidhs themselves, who are passionate about giving value for money and, above all, giving them a memorable night.
Dance all night or slot in a disco or we'll perform some songs if you want. Maybe you want an open stage for a bit of a sing-song. Great! You know what will make your night a success, and we will go along with it. Just get in touch and tell us what you want.

A long established Edinburgh band playing up-tempo ceilidh and a range of other dance music suitable for any function. Calling and a varied programme ensures that everybody has a go, and distance is not a problem. They were an institution for many years in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and have also become regulars at T in the Park. The band are also seasoned travellers, having played gigs in the USA, China, Vietnam, Nigeria, Dubai, Denmark and Spain.
